お問い合わせ連携教育「英語による授業2023」の報告
本校の専攻科において「先進テクノロジー実践連携教育プログラム」に所属する学生には、長岡技術科学大学での授業・研究に加えて海外研究機関での1か月の英語によるインターンシップがあります。これらの経験によって、グローバルな環境で活躍できる技術者になることをめざしています。
連携教育プログラムでは、インターンシップの際に英語で不自由しないよう、英語によるコミュニケーション能力の向上を目的とした「英語による授業」を実施 (Zoom および対面) しており、5年目を迎えました。本年度はより多くに皆さんに参加してもらえるように、放課後だけでなく授業時間内でも実施し、科学技術における英語をより身近に感じてもらえるようつとめました。
今後インターンシップをめざす学生、将来留学して外国で学位を取りたい学生、科学技術英語に興味のある学生、英語の講演を聞いたり英語でプレゼンができるようになりたいと思っている学生などをはじめとして多くの皆さんに参加していただきたいと考えております。
最後に、千歳科学技術大学Olaf Karthaus教授、ジーメンス・ジャパンHelmut Wenisch博士、芝浦工業大学Izabela Rzeznicka教授、ドイツRhein-Main応用科学大学Ursula Pfeifer教授ならびにPeter Dannenmann教授、およびフィリピンMSU-Iligan Institute of Technology, Reynaldo Vequizo教授にはお忙しい中、また時差があるにもかかわらず熱心に授業していただき、大変感謝する次第です。
